Death Has No Power

Darkness cannot co-exist with God’s light. Since the mission of Jesus was to bring salvation and life, then he has to stop what was causing it to progress – death. The bible said: “That is why Jesus became one of us. He died to destroy the devil, who had power over death.” So for life to win, death has to lose its power.

Now, since Jesus has conquered the grave, then it only proves that death has no longer power over man. Death has lost its hold to man’s life because Jesus was victorious on the cross. His resurrection defeated death. The bible says, “Death has lost the battle! Where is its victory? Where is its sting?”

Death has no power! It can no longer defeat man because Jesus was already raised from the dead. So the truth is this, man has regained the access to eternal life because death was defeated by Jesus. The Apostle Paul said: “We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him.”
